BRANDING / LOGO DESIGN
Logo Design.
Logo design that earns its space.
Original logos for Vancouver businesses. Hand-drawn, considered, and built to work at sixteen pixels and sixteen feet.
From $1,5002–4 weeksOne honest quote
01 / The cost of waiting
A $50 logo from a template tool looks like what it is. Customers read visual quality as a proxy for business quality before they read a single word of copy.
That first impression is expensive. A weak mark means every sales conversation starts with an extra mile of convincing. Every time. Forever.
02 / Approach
How a logo gets made.
This is how we do logo design — not 'best practice' in a vacuum, but the way we actually ship work that earns its keep.
- 01
Brief
One working session. Business, audience, competitors, and the one impression the mark must land. No 40-question mood-board forms.
- 02
Concepts
Three distinct directions. Each with a one-line rationale. You pick one. We refine that one.
- 03
Refinement
Two rounds of shaping the chosen direction. Weight, proportion, spacing, alternative lockups. Polish, not pivot.
- 04
Delivery kit
Every file format. Color, mono, inverse. Horizontal, vertical, stacked, icon. Brand Identity projects layer the full system on top of this.
03 / Deliverables
Everything in one folder.

Common questions
Three distinct concepts in round one. Two rounds of refinement on the one you pick. A polish round before delivery. Most clients land on a direction in the first presentation because we front-load the thinking.
Vector master files (SVG, AI, EPS, PDF), raster exports (PNG, JPG at multiple sizes), color and mono variants, and a small usage document. You own the logo outright. No licensing clauses, no hostage files.
An online tool generates marks. We design them. That means the logo is drawn around your business (not picked from a library), tested at every size and context, and backed by reasoning you can defend in a boardroom. If the brief is "cheap mark for a side project," an online tool is honestly fine. If it's anything you plan to scale, it isn't.
Yes, when there's equity worth keeping. We audit the current mark first. Sometimes a tightening is all it needs. Sometimes a full redraw is the right call. We recommend honestly.
Two to four weeks. One week to develop concepts, one to two weeks of refinement, one week for delivery and polish. Faster if you can approve quickly. We do not rush the concept phase because everything downstream rests on it.
